The estate extends over 13 ha. of limestone and calcareous clay soils. 11 HA are planted to sauvignon blanc and 2 HA are planted to Pinot Noir.
Hints of tropical fruit first appear on the nose which then opens with intense aromas of citrus zest, peaches and exotic fruits. In the background, floral notes of broom, elder flower and lily appear. Intensity on the palate, which then evens out to a lucious flavour profile, including white flowers and tropical fruits. Crisp, fresh finish.
The beautiful Cherrier vineyards located in the heart of the Loire Valley, are rooted in limestone soils known locally as "caillotts.”
This type of soil is essential for top rated Sancerre and gives a supple structure to the 25-year old vines. Fermented traditionally in cement and stainless steel tanks.
