The adventure and encounter between Alexandre de Malet Roquefort and Bertrand Ravache is a fusion of mutual esteem and respect. It is only natural that Maison Bertrand Ravache remains the preferred distributor of the Malet Roquefort family estates.

Château Chapelle d'Aliénor has the charm of these pretty walks that whet the appetite. As in Pomerol, the vines, on exceptional hillsides, take place on a clay-limestone soil that gives the wine a beautiful freshness and a lot of minerality. This wine, silky, round and velvety is the assurance of a pleasant moment.

Under the same ownership as Château la Gaffelière in Saint-Emilion, this estate has produced a sumptuously ripe wine. Its tannins are softened enough to integrate with the generous black fruits. Acidity keeps the wine in balance. Drink from 2020. ROGER VOSS

This outstanding find performs - showing succulent red fruits, a rich textural palate, fine tannins, and a lovely freshness lacking in the previous vintage.
The 2019 vintage, exceptional in Bordeaux, offers a charming, intense and complex wine, where aromas of cherry and toasted almond meet, with a touch of spicy notes. One of the best quality/price ratios of all Bordeaux with silky tannins make it a beautiful bottle already ready to be tasted and which can also wait one to two years in the cellar.
Produced by the team at La Gaffeliere.

Vintage Conditions
Flowering is rapid and uniform and extends until mid-June. It takes place in a warm and low-humidity climate. The month of July is humid with peaks of heat and storms sometimes accompanied by hail. This results in active growth of the vine and a thickening of the berries.

The veraison spread from the end of July to August 20, given the humid conditions at the beginning of August. The good weather, from the end of August, allows a stop in the growth of the vine as well as a faster and more complete maturation of the grapes.
The temperature amplitudes between day and night favor the concentration and preservation of aromas in the
grape skins.
The harvest from September 20th continued until October 10th in hot and dry weather. Sorting of the harvest by density.
