This Lakeview Cellars Sauvignon Blanc was harvested from 5 acres of mature Niagara vines. Traditional notes of gooseberry and fresh tropical fruits are present on the palate of this wine.
On the nose, this wine captivates with a burst of fresh and intense aromas. You'll encounter delightful notes of citrus fruits, such as ripe grapefruit and zesty lemon. There's also a subtle herbaceousness, reminiscent of freshly cut grass and a touch of bell pepper. The citrus from the nose translates seamlessly onto the palate, presenting a medley of juicy grapefruit, tangy lemon, and luscious passion fruit. The wine's bright acidity adds liveliness, while a slight mineral undertone contributes depth and complexity. The finish is clean, refreshing, and lingering, leaving a pleasant citrusy aftertaste.
The grapes were gently pressed to obtain the juice, which was then cold-settled to clarify it and remove any impurities. The juice underwent a cool fermentation process in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This allowed us to preserve the vibrant fruit aromas and freshness inherent in the grapes.
