Sant'Ilario Chianti Classico enhances pasta dishes with meat sauces, roasts, braised meats and grilled meats such as the typical Florentine steak, as well as well-aged cheeses.
The grapes are vinified according to the traditional method of fermentation in the presence of the skins which lasts for about 10 days at a temperature of 28° C. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages for 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels and another 4 months in the bottle.
