A product of Niagara’s exceptional 2020 vintage, this complex and concentrated red was aged for 18 months in French and American oak, offering depth and elegance with the potential to age gracefully.
This Cabernet Franc is the perfect combination of fruity and savoury notes. The nose is
perfumed with raspberry, roasted peppers, tarragon and cigar box. On the palate there’s
raspberries and dark plums, roasted pepper, licorice and savoury herbs. This wine has great
structure and concentration of complex flavours.
2020 was truly a memorable and magical vintage in Niagara. It produced wines with great intensity, concentration and ripeness while still keeping the acidity intact. This wine is beautiful now but will still reward you with some ageing in your cellar. This Cabernet Franc is from a combination of vineyards across the Niagara Peninsula. Aged in French and American oak (about 20% new) for 18 months before individual batches were blended to make this special blend.
